Pineapple/Ginger Smoothie Detox
This one, is my go to smoothie for so many years, if I want to eliminate excess liquids from my body, I just go ahead and make this delicious smoothie.
I started doing this regularly once a week, usually on Fridays, just to prep. my body for the weekend and it really works.
Funny story : ….. Once I was making this smoothie just before going to the Gym and my husband asked for some of it, so I made extra for him and did not told him
about the effect, LOL…..once we were there at the gym, I was running on the treadmill and He did not want to lose for me on the other treadmill, because that’s just how he is very competitive ( don’t tell him I told you..lol), I kept on doing my thing, and I looked at him and he was literally melting…..lol…he looked at me with a face asking me “what have you put in that smoothie?”…..lol, it was so funny guys….:)))))
I told him, and He said, “you know I come to the gym to gain mass, not to lose it, right?!….” it was so funny I could not stop laughing…yes, that happened and it was hilarious.
So here goes the recipe:
Pineapple/Ginger Smoothie Detox
- 1 cup of pineapple fruit
- 2 small slices of ginger
- 2 mint leaves
- 1/4 of coconut water or just regular water
- 1/4 of cup of ice ( if the pineapple is not frozen)
- Blend every well in a blender until is very smoothie. Enjoy!!!!
I like to drink it, before doing any kind of physical activity, preferable 20 minutes before.
